Another spring around the corner, another reason to get the bike out the garage and yes, another reason to make excuses to just ride around aimlessly. Dunno where you’re going; don’t care. That’s the spirit.
Interestingly, there’s a good feeling in the water. Lockdown easing is upon us in the UK and our European customers are already getting ready for their turn. Yes, it’s still restrictive, but people are starting to order with confidence after the standard winter lull. In saying that, we didn’t really notice product demand waiver, because (and I’ve always said it), you’d need a world war to stop any form of enthusiast buying what they want.
However, over the last, say six months, the cost of importing goods has gone up. The shippers are becoming greedy, blaming the virus for increased costs from their end. I hate to say it, but my cynical ol’ head doesn’t believe them. This has led to a price increase, albeit that we’ve been able to spread it over the many products that we sell, so it won’t be much.
However, we do mitigate against this. As an example, if you take a good look through our Ebay and Amazon store, you’ll see that we’re quite aggressive in offering daily deals, low-priced auctions and general offers. These offers are regular, more so than sporadic and will save you a bit on some stuff, and a fair bit on others.
To our American customers, it’s worth you knowing that we’ve recently ramped up the amount of stock that we’re sending to our Stateside Amazon warehouses. This means that not-only will our US Amazon store be able to sell and send you products quickly, but if you’re one of our Ebay and/or website customers, we can have them send to you directly in the same way that they send out to their customers. In short, you’ll get it very quickly.
OK, so that’s enough info for now, I’d have thought; as always, chuck your questions across as and when.
All the best,
