Will this luggage fit my motorcycle?

Most of our motorcycle luggage, including Kriega, Givi, Shad and SW‑Motech, is designed to fit a wide range of bikes. If you’re unsure, send us your bike’s make, model and year and we will confirm compatibility, suggesting specific mounting products should they be required.
Do I need pannier rails/rack?

Some luggage, such as Kriega soft luggage, mounts directly to the bike (in most cases). Others like Givi, Shad or SW‑Motech luggage require specific pannier / top case supports.
Are your panniers compatible with aftermarket exhausts?

Many soft panniers, especially Kriega and universal-fit soft luggage, work with aftermarket exhausts, but high‑level pipes may require a particular mounting bracket to allow luggage to fit. We can best advise on your options.
Will a tank bag work on my bike if I have a plastic or composite tank?

Yes. We stock strap‑mounted tank bags and universal harness systems compatible with Kriega, Givi, Shad and SW‑Motech setups. Magnetic tank bags require a steel tank. Givi, Shad and SW‑Motech will need one of their own tang rings to allow them to fit, for the most part.
Are your bags waterproof?

Many of our dry bags and roll‑top luggage including Kriega Drypacks, Givi waterproof bags, Shad Terra waterproof luggage and SW‑Motech Drybag series are fully waterproof with welded seams. At the very least, they will be water‑resistant and include a good rain cover.
Do the zips and seams have waterproof sealing?

Where applicable, our waterproof luggage uses sealed zips and heat‑welded seams. They represent water-resistance, more so than waterproofing. If a bag uses standard zips, it will include a waterproof cover.
Are replacement straps or buckles available?

Yes — we stock spare straps and fittings compatible with Kriega, Givi, Shad and SW‑Motech luggage systems.
How much can this bag carry?

Capacity is listed in litres on every product page. Our range includes compact Kriega tank bags, mid‑size Givi tail packs and large Shad and SW‑Motech waterproof roll bags ideal for touring.
Is this luggage suitable for long‑distance touring?

Absolutely. All luggage brands that we represent offer something for long-distance in both hard and soft luggage format (Kriega is soft luggage only).
Will the bag keep its shape when empty?

Some bags, such as Givi semi‑rigid panniers and Shad hard luggage, hold their shape. Others, like Kriega Drypacks, are soft for flexibility and compact storage.
Can the luggage be locked to the bike?

Most hard luggage from Givi, Shad and SW‑Motech includes lock‑off points. Soft luggage like Kriega can often be secured with a cable lock. If security is a priority, we can recommend the best options. The hard luggage we sell is usually lockable and some soft luggage is too.
Will the luggage affect my bike’s stability?

When fitted correctly and loaded evenly, our luggage is safe and stable. We recommend keeping heavier items low and close to the bike’s centre of gravity.
Do the bags have reflective panels?

Most of our luggage — including Kriega, Givi, Shad and SW‑Motech — includes reflective detailing for improved night‑time visibility.
How do I fit the luggage to my bike?

Each product includes fitting instructions. Kriega, Givi, Shad and SW‑Motech soft luggage typically uses adjustable straps and quick‑release buckles for easy installation.
Do I need tools to install it?

Yes, if fitting top box racks, plates and pannier supports.
Can I use this luggage off the bike?

Yes — many of our bags, including Kriega Drypacks, Givi tail packs, Shad Terra bags and SW‑Motech Drybags, include shoulder straps or backpack straps for easy carrying.
Is the luggage easy to access while on the bike?

Most bags include quick‑access pockets or top openings for convenience during fuel stops or short breaks.
What if the luggage doesn’t fit my bike?

You can return it unused for a refund or exchange (within a certain timeframe and subject to original product condition and packaging being as you received it). We are always happy to help you choose the right option.
Do your products come with a warranty?
