What is chrome tanned leather?

Chrome tanned leather is extremely strong, durable and uses a special wax treatment to resist most weather conditions. The chrome tanning process is the global industry standard and ensures that the colors of the leather remain unchanged during the product’s entire lifespan.

  • The inside of the leather is blocked so that water can't penetrate easily.
  • We recommend you wax your bag regularly to maintain suppleness and waterproofing of your saddlebags.

150ml bottles of wax available to purchase separately (CST900).
