It's been a very busy few months...

Hope you're well and that the riding season, wherever you are, is taking shape nicely.

For us, it's been a very busy few months. Yes, we've had a few new products come through, click here to view. However, our main focus has actually been that of consolidation, as in making sure that we've correctly filmed and taken photos of what we've got, as well as included and updated any measurements that we've missed in our advert photos.

Also, we're working tirelessly to make sure that we can obtain stock for our most popular lines for the season - no mean feat in the current mad climate, let me tell you. Interestingly, there’s not that much genuinely new product coming out that’s really grabbing the headlines at the moment, which tells me two things. Firstly, that there are now fewer people actually designing product worthy of our market segment and secondly, that the quality of what’s coming through is actually getting better, which means that these manufacturers are consolidating their wares, too. This can only be a good thing.

Moving onto the Bikeshed Show 2022. It was great to be back and while we weren’t exhibiting this year, it was humbling to see so many of our products on peoples’ builds, both amateur and pro. Was also good to see so many of the regular faces and moreover a new, younger wave of riders walking around. We need them to keep the industry going, no more so than ever. Even more encouraging than that was to see so many women riders, as this is an often-missed, yet vital part of the market segment that we need to push like mad. Go to the USA and you’ll see how much effort the likes of Harley Davidson make to get women on motorcycles. It’s beyond admirable and we need to follow suit pretty quick-sharp. Well done Bikeshed for championing your genre cause in general.

In other news, we’re in the throes of taking on a social media guy in house to help promote our wares quicker and more efficiently. If you follow us on all the usual social channels, you’ll shortly see us being more active with that (we’re active already, but need to step it up – more on this in due course.
