The importance of Brackets…..

The importance of Brackets…..

OK, so at some point in a custom build, you’ll more than likely change your headlight. It may be for reasons of vanity – a large, imposing headlight with, say, a mesh or prison style grill really makes your bike in the same way as a set of wheels does on a car. It may be because you’ve had an accident, or bought a bike half way through its project build and the guy’s run out of money to finish it. However, changing the headlight catalyses other areas of improvement on your front end and to that point, an often-overlooked area is that of your fork brackets.

When designing a build, or indeed building around a design, you usually know what you want very quickly. To a great extent, the finished article is in your mind; all the parts you readily see and dislike have already been changed on your dream bike. You’ve more-or-less set your budget and are ready to kick the project off. However, ignoring the headlight brackets is like, as I say, changing the wheels on the car, but leaving rust around the arches; you can do it, but it’ll often and sometimes always niggle away at you every time you look at it.

To this end, it’s really worth building into your build the concept of changing your headlight brackets to make the job complete (no, at this point, I’m not going to use that massively over-rinsed saying “The Devil being in the detail”) and it’s a good idea to have a look through the headlight brackets that we sell. They’re neat, tidy and universal. Their quality is very high and they come in quite a large range of sizes, some clamping round the forks without you even having to remove the forks themselves.

With nearly all our products, we tend to avoid the cheap, nasty rubbish, as I go by the tenet that I don’t want you to buy something that I wouldn’t put on my own bike, so our brackets are robust and designed to stand the test of time really well. They’re practical too, allowing you (in most cases) to screw your indicator into them, and nearly all are made from billet aluminium, or high grade metal.

So, when you next order a headlight, take a look through this link https://www.alchemyparts.co.uk/headlight-brackets/ and check out our headlights; you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks,

Roy
