Exhaust Wadding

 

This good quality exhaust wadding offers excellent sound absorption/reduction.

 

It's ideal if you've got an older exhaust end can that needs packing out, but you don't want to spend much money. When you fit this product, you simply remove your baffle, neatly wrap the wadding around it and secure it with either wire cable (as seen in the images), or even better, stainless steel cable ties for a secure fit. Once you reinsert the baffle and start the motorbike for the first time thereafter, it will effectively burn itself into place when the exhaust gets warm; please don't be surprised if a little smoke comes out of the exhaust when this happens.

 

 

 

As a result, it's great for the exhausts of cafe racers, project bikes, Harley Davidson projects, streetfighters, trikes, choppers and so on...

 

N.B. Due to the nature of fibreglass exhaust wadding, we recommend that you wear gloves when handling it, as well as cover your eyes and arms.
